Position Overview – Nurse Practitioner (NP)

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for our White Marsh, Maryland clinic. This role offers a 4-day work week (10-hour shifts), Tuesday – Friday.

As the provider, you will guide a multidisciplinary care team and play a key role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and manage obesity and related chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Lead and collaborate with a care team (RD, trainer, behavioral health)
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment progress
• Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, and behavior change
• Ensure documentation meets clinical and coding standards
• Support patient engagement, retention, and outcomes
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks aligned with CoreLife & MedStar standards

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license – Maryland
• Board Certified (FNP, AGNP, or related)
• DEA license (or eligibility)
• Experience in:
  • Primary Care
  • Obesity Medicine
  • Endocrinology or Chronic Disease Management (preferred)
• Strong interest in lifestyle medicine and multidisciplinary care
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
