About the Role:Suarez Family Medicine PLLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Medical Doctor (MD) to join our team on a part-time basis in Freeport, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused family medicine practice where patient care is at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and health screenings
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication regimens
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Requirements:- Active NP or MD license in the state of New York (required)
- Board certification in Family Medicine or related specialty preferred
- Experience in a primary care or family medicine setting strongly preferred
- DEA license and ability to prescribe medications independently or collaboratively
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
