Description
Immediate Nurse Practitioner (NP) contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center in Elko, NV.
Pay Rate: $100.00/hr
Work Schedule:
4 x 10hr rotating shifts: Mon–Thu and Tue–Fri, 8:00am - 7:00pm
2 scheduled weekends per month: Sat–Sun, 8:00am – 2:00pm
Contract Details:
Start: 10/05/2026
End: 2/28/2027 (possible extension or permanent position)
Job Details:
Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Maintains medical records
Qualifications:
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program
Epic experience a plus
Experience in acute care or walk-in/urgent care
Current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
