Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Corporate Health (Contract)
Pay: $100.00 per hour
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time (through mid-December 2026, with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY (onsite)
About the Role
KMG Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a short-term contract at an onsite corporate health center in Midtown Manhattan. You’ll deliver high-quality primary and preventive care to the employees of a premier client in a modern, professional clinic setting. This is a great opportunity for a skilled NP who can start quickly and wants a steady weekday schedule with no nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
- Perform procedures such as injections, wound care, and infection management
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient health records
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted New York RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
- Master of Science in Nursing (transcripts required if the degree does not state Nursing)
- State prescriptive authority and federal DEA registration for New York
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers, with hands-on training; ACLS may be required
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Primary care, occupational health, or urgent care experience preferred
- Available to start immediately
