Spanish-Speaking Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Part-Time
Doral Health & Wellness is a premier multi-specialty healthcare organization with state-of-the-art locations dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality, and integrated care. We are currently seeking a Spanish-speaking Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis, 2 days per week, to support our growing patient population in an outpatient setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP or PA passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered cardiac care in a collaborative and modern clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute, chronic, and complex cardiology conditions
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and interpret diagnostic studies
- Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and individualized cardiac management plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and multidisciplinary care teams
- Provide patient education, counseling, and preventive health strategies
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and their families
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Active, unrestricted New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Spanish-speaking required
- Clinical experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or a related specialty preferred
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time – 2 days per week
- Starting at $90/hour, based on experience
