Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) Medical Weight Loss

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive, non-surgical medical weight loss care in a patient-centered clinical setting. This role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and building long-term relationships to support sustainable weight loss and overall wellness. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care and helping patients achieve healthier lifestyles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized weight loss treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes
  • Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice to support weight management goals
  • Educate patients on nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits, exercise, and long-term weight management strategies
  • Build lasting relationships with patients by providing ongoing support and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Promote preventive care and encourage healthy lifestyle changes to improve overall patient health

Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the applicable state required
  • Previous experience in weight management, family practice, primary care, or internal medicine preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for preventive medicine and long-term patient wellness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Schedule

  • Full-time: 32 36 hours per week
  • Part-time: 8 16 hours per week
  • PRN and temporary opportunities available
  • Flexible scheduling with travel between clinic locations as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75 per hour (based on experience and scheduled hours)
