A health services network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team in at one of their occupational medicine practices in Ocean County. This position focuses on evaluating and treating adult patients in a fast-paced occupational health setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Rotating
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Setting: Occupational Medicine Clinic
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-employment and pre-placement physicals
- Provide return-to-work clearances
- Evaluate and treat workers' compensation injuries
- Order and interpret X-rays and laboratory results
- Conduct initial and follow-up occupational injury assessments, medical surveillance exams, exposure evaluations, health screenings, for-cause substance testing, and fit-for-duty examinations
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license
- DOT Certification
- DEA registration
- CDS registration
- Senior occupational medicine experience
- Experience managing Workers' Compensation cases
Desired Skills:
- Experience collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical departments
- Prior travel experience
