What Youll Do
- Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage, including rounding and patient assessments
- Attend to pre- and post-operative patient care
- Manage daily inpatient clinical responsibilities and documentation
- Participate in occasional weekend beeper call (12-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday)
- Support neurosurgery team with care coordination and patient management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Required:- Active WA license or IMLC
- DEA certification
- BC certification in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Prior experience in neurosurgery or critical care settings (minimum 3+ years preferred)
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently
Preferred:- First assist experience in neurosurgery (not mandatory)
- Experience rounding on complex inpatient populations
- Ability to handle high-acuity cases and multidisciplinary coordination
