What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced neonatal care for critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU
- Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertion, paracentesis, spinal taps, and exchange transfusions
- Manage ventilator support, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
- Stabilize patients for transfer or ongoing treatment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RN staff, respiratory therapists, and consulting specialists
- Maintain adherence to clinical protocols and ensure patient safety and quality care
What You Need
Required:- Active license as a Nurse Practitioner, with Neonatology certification or eligibility
- Certification in NRP
- Experience with neonatal procedures (intubation, chest tubes, central lines, etc.)
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities
Preferred:- Prior experience in a Level III NICU setting
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal emergencies and advanced procedures
