Position Summary
A unique opportunity to join a compassionate and growing neonatal care team serving families across beautiful Springfield and the surrounding region. The NP will be employed by the prestigious Washington University (WashU) while working in coordination with Missouri's #1 Children's Hospital all while being in the heart of the Ozarks.
Provides advanced clinical care to premature, critically ill and medically complex newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and affiliated newborn care settings. Works collaboratively with neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver evidence-based neonatal care.
Hours:
Full-time; 24-hour shifts and 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM-6:30 PM).

Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program.
Current Missouri APRN license or eligibility for licensure.
National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC).
Current NRP certification.
Experience in Level III or Level IV NICU settings.
Strong clinical judgement, communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to patient-centered and family-focused care.
Ability to manage high-acuity neonatal patients in coordination with the 24/7 in house neonatologist.
Delivery room experience.

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
