What You'll Do 

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, health assessments, and annual physical examinations. 
  • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care. 
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, counselors, and nursing staff to coordinate care. 
  • Participate in treatment planning and case consultations. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation. 
  • Consult with counseling staff regarding patient treatment and medication needs. 
  • Support a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and patient-centered care.  

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Master’s degree in nursing. 
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APRN) in the state of employment. 
  • Current DEA registration. 
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and BLS certification. 
  • Ability to maintain continuing education requirements. 
  • Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.  

Preferred:

  • Experience working in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or substance use disorder treatment. 
  • Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and co-occurring disorders. 
  • Two or more years of experience in psychiatric or addiction-focused care.
