Schedule: Approx. 20 25 hours per month

Pay: $8,250 $8,500/month

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dependable Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a detox treatment program in Homeland, California. This is a hybrid position supporting an adult, co-ed substance use disorder population and is ideal for a provider who is experienced, organized, and comfortable working both onsite and remotely.

The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in supporting medical care within the detox setting, including patient assessments, medication management, treatment planning, clinical oversight, and documentation. This position requires a provider who can work collaboratively with the treatment team while maintaining a high standard of care for clients in early recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical assessments and evaluations for clients in detox treatment
  • Review medical history, current symptoms, and withdrawal-related concerns
  • Develop and oversee appropriate treatment plans based on client needs
  • Prescribe medications and manage detox-related medical services within scope of practice
  • Monitor client progress, response to treatment, and overall medical stability
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations staff to support continuity of care
  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
  • Participate in remote follow-up, chart review, coordination, and other clinical support tasks as needed
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and program policies

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license
  • DEA license and furnishing number, if applicable
  • Experience working with substance use disorder populations strongly preferred
  • Detox, addiction medicine, behavioral health, urgent care, or related experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable with both onsite and remote responsibilities
  • Proficient with EMR documentation

Schedule

  • Approximately 20 25 hours per week
  • 15 hours in-person
  • 5 10 hours remote
  • 2-3 in-person days per week

Compensation

  • $8,250 $8,500 per month, depending on experience
