About the Role:Michel Badin MD PA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Jersey City, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients navigating complex blood disorders and cancer diagnoses. Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to hematology and oncology patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with the supervising physician and multidisciplinary care team to develop and manage individualized patient care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging relevant to hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology-related treatments
- Manage symptom control, supportive care, and palliative interventions for cancer patients
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and disease management
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Requirements:- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of New Jersey
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
- Board certification as an Adult, Family, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
- Prior experience in hematology, oncology, or a related specialty strongly preferred.
- Candidates with experience in internal medicine, hospital medicine, or another relevant specialty who are highly motivated to learn oncology are enouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols, clinical oncology guidelines, and supportive care management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- DEA license and NPI number required or ability to obtain
