Position Overview
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, long-term opportunity in an occupational and primary care clinic setting. This role provides patient-centered care for illnesses, injuries, acute and chronic conditions, employee health needs, and preventive health services.
The Nurse Practitioner will practice within established clinical protocols while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and support positive patient outcomes.
Schedule- Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-employment physicals, wellness assessments, and health screenings.
- Evaluate and treat patients with illnesses, injuries, and other clinical concerns.
- Manage acute and chronic health conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Develop and implement treatment plans within established clinical protocols.
- Support preventive health and disease-management initiatives.
- Conduct age-appropriate assessments and clinical interventions.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically indicated.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Discuss appropriate clinical cases with medical leadership and operational stakeholders.
- Provide clinical oversight for employee respirator and hearing testing conducted by clinic staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Practice according to professional, ethical, and scope-of-practice standards.
- Assist with additional clinical responsibilities based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with an active license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and patient-service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and organizational stakeholders.
- Ability to follow established clinical procedures and written protocols.
- Ability to work independently and adjust to changing clinical priorities.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
