Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology (GI APP) | Full-TimeLocation: Seattle Area, Washington

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology (GI APP) to join its growing specialty team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

Position Overview

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care, including evaluation and management of GI conditions• Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and GI bleeding• Perform patient consultations, follow-ups, and preventive screenings• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists on treatment plans and care coordination• Assist with pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy)• Educate patients on diet, medications, and lifestyle modifications• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)• Active or eligible for Washington State licensure• Active/eligible DEA registration• Prior experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or primary care preferred• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
