The Behavioral Health Service Line seeks a qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our hospital-based Consult Liaison Psychiatry team. This position will be primarily based in our Crisis Walk In Center (CWIC) which is an innovative program providing team-based care to low risk patients who are seeking assessment and connection to behavioral health care. The CWIC team includes nursing, care management, counseling and peer support.
Secondary coverage will be on the CL team completing psychiatric assessments and recommendations for patients in the Emergency Department and hospitalized patients at Lancaster General and Women’s and Babies Hospitals.
This Nurse practitioner will work on a team with two CL psychiatrists, and a CL APP. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with autonomy to manage the daily work and to engage with care team members. The ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment is essential.
Hours: Fulltime, Monday – Friday, 12:00 to 8:00 PM. No on call requirements; no weekends or holidays at this time.
