Pay Rate: Starting at $60.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to support a leading healthcare system in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practice provider who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and evaluation of presenting conditions.

   

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.

   

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice.

   

• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and other clinical evaluations.

   

• Prescribe medications and provide medication management in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.

   

• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations.

   

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

   

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

   

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record.

   

• Provide appropriate referrals and coordinate follow-up care with specialists and community resources.

   

• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based clinical practices.

   

• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and professional standards.

   

• Perform other duties as assigned.

   

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nursing program required.

   

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas required.

   

• National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner required.

   

• Current BLS certification required.

   

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.

   

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

   

• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving abilities.

   

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

   

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

   

• Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard clinical technology.
