Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg to join our healthcare team. The RN will provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in a Med-Surg setting.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg RN experience required.
- Active/Valid Texas RN License required.
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
