Nurse Manager (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and supervision to ClarkLindseys Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. This leadership role is ideal for a compassionate, organized nursing professional with previous experience performing this type of work.
Primary Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Staff Supervision
Directly supervise and support licensed nurses and nursing staff, providing clinical guidance and oversight for resident care concerns
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and staff development
Assistwith recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining nursing team members
Collaborate with scheduling personnel to ensure adequate staffing coverage
Resident Health Management
Oversee resident assessments upon admission, and ongoing evaluations
Monitor changes in resident condition and coordinateappropriate interventions
Manage chronic disease oversight and continuity of care
Coordinate services with physicians, hospice providers, therapy teams, home health agencies, and pharmacies
Participate in care planning meetings with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Memory Care
Ensure best-practice care for residents with dementia and cognitive impairment
Educate staff and familiesregardingdementia progression and resident care needs
Support person-centered approaches that promote resident dignity, comfort, and engagement
Medication & Regulatory Oversight
Oversee medication administration systems and clinical documentation
Audit medication records and investigate medication-related concerns
Ensure compliance with state regulations, community policies, and infection prevention standards
Assistwith survey readiness, inspections, and corrective action plans
Quality Assurance & Risk Management
Monitor clinical quality indicators including falls, infections, medication errors, hospitalizations, and skin concerns
Support quality improvement initiatives and develop prevention strategies
Support infection prevention and emergency preparedness programs
We have a few requirements:
Current, active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in senior living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or skilled nursing
Demonstrated experience compassionately working with residents living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other cognitive impairments
Prior leadership experience supervising and coaching clinical staff, such as nurses, CNAs and RAs
Strong knowledge of medication management, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experience with MS Office and PointClick care
Ability to make independent decisions and remain calm during emergencies
Ability to move around the unit, bend, kneel, etc. with ease, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and support up to 200 pounds in an emergency.
Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $82,000 - $97,300 and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary available based on performance.
