This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced Oncology RN who is passionate about developing high-performing teams, driving quality outcomes, and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Weaver 11 offers a collaborative environment with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, private patient rooms, and an active Unit Council that promotes shared governance and continuous improvement. Patients and families also benefit from comprehensive support services, including pastoral care, counseling, social work, nutrition services, and a dedicated family information center.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the daily operations of a 24-bed inpatient oncology unit.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff while fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.
    • Drive patient safety, quality improvement, and exceptional patient experiences.
    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based oncology care.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
    • Support strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and shared governance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
    • 3-5 years of nursing experience required
    • 3-5 years of oncology nursing experience required
    • 3-5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience required
