As Nurse Manager, you'll oversee an eight-room LDRP unit with dedicated OB observation and triage spaces, caring primarily for low-risk obstetric patients while ensuring the team is prepared to respond when higher-acuity situations arise.     This is a primarily Monday–Friday leadership role with flexibility in scheduling and occasional weekend responsibilities. Success in this position means being a visible, accessible leader across all shifts, regularly connecting with evening, night, and weekend team members to provide support, mentorship, and partnership.     What We're Looking For:
    • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
      • Graduate Degree, preferred.
    • Experience: Two years demonstrated leadership experience, preferred.
      • Three years clinical RN experience in an acute care setting, preferred.
    • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
      • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
      • Board certification in area of practice, preferred.
    • Additional Skills (required): Understands and applies: current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; skills in interviewing and selection process; understanding of budgeting, staffing, payroll and purchasing processes; implementation of competency, feedback, development and progressive discipline processes; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations; principles of change management.
