    Position: Nurse Manager - Emergency Room - Acute Care Facility

    Newbridge Recruiting Group LLC is working with our client to fill a Nurse Manager Position in Tazewell County, VA.  We are  currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department of at a leading healthcare facility. This is a full-time, permanent position.

    Responsibilities include :

    - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Emergency Room department

    - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care

    - Monitor and maintain staffing levels and schedules to meet patient needs

    - Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback

    - Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care

    - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards

    - Participate in budget planning and management for the department

    - Serve as a resource for staff and patients, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise

    - Stay current with developments and advancements in Emergency Room nursing and implement best practices as appropriate

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred

    - Current and valid RN license in  Virginia is required

    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role

    - Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with a focus on emergency care

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team

    - Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for healthcare facilities

    - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

    - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

    - Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
