About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced
Nurse Manager II to lead operations within a busy
Operating Room (OR) environment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR leader who enjoys
team development, patient safety, clinical excellence, and improving surgical operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop OR nursing staff and leaders
- Oversee daily Operating Room operations and patient care
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and surgical resources
- Promote patient safety, quality, and infection-control standards
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal regulations
- Support hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning
- Manage departmental budgets and monitor operational costs
- Lead quality improvement and process improvement initiatives
- Develop performance reports and track key metrics
- Maintain emergency preparedness and staff readiness
- Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve OR services
What You’ll Need
- BSN – Required
- Active Oregon RN License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- 5+ years of patient care experience
- 5+ years of healthcare/clinical operations experience
- 4+ years of leadership experience
- Strong Operating Room leadership experience – Required
- Acute care hospital experience
Preferred
- PALS Certification
- ANCC specialty certification
- Experience with change management and process improvement
- Healthcare quality, compliance, and regulatory experience
Ideal Candidate
An experienced
OR Nurse Leader/Manager with strong clinical knowledge, proven leadership skills, and a track record of improving
patient safety, staff performance, and surgical operations.
