Location: Happy Valley, OR
Pay Rate: $157,000 – $165,000 per year

Position Overview
A large, integrated healthcare system is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead Cardiac Catheterization Lab operations at an acute-care hospital. The ideal candidate is a clinically strong cardiovascular nurse leader who can build team capability, drive quality outcomes, and manage a high-acuity procedural environment. This is a full-time leadership opportunity within a well-resourced, physician-partnered cardiovascular program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab on a 24/7 basis
• Manage staffing, on-call scheduling, and resource planning for a high-volume cath lab
• Lead, coach, and develop cath lab nursing and tech staff through performance management and mentorship
• Monitor and drive quality metrics, patient safety outcomes, and infection control compliance
• Collaborate with cardiovascular physicians, surgeons, and hospital leadership on service line strategy and improvement initiatives
• Oversee department budget including labor, supply chain, and capital equipment planning
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state health department standards
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes for all cath lab personnel
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning for adverse events and near misses
• Serve as the primary clinical resource and escalation point for complex procedural or patient care issues

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon required
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiovascular or cath lab nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing leadership or charge nurse experience
• Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, and EP procedures
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop clinical teams in a high-acuity environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a related field is preferred
