The Registered Nurse-Nurse Manager is a licensed professional responsible for maintaining the standards of the Texas board of nurse examiners. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations to include maintaining professional practice guidelines, staffing, scheduling, medication update and guidelines, and safe practice initiatives. In performing his or her professional practice the Nurse Manager is responsible for maintaining quality cost effectiveness and guest relations. Customer service is expected to be a top priority of the nurse lead. May require some travel with mileage reimbursement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• bachelor's degree of nursing or higher
• a current Texas registered nurse license
• minimum of three-year emergency room experience
• current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. (TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred but not required).
• Strong skills in both oral and written format
• must be flexible and service oriented.
•problem solving abilities with the ability to intervene immediately and awareness of changing conditions that may require additional assistance and critical thinking skills.
