Job Overview: Lead nursing operations in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) within a 24/7 hospital environment. Oversee patient care delivery, staff management, compliance, and process improvements across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead implementation of best practice models and patient care standards.
  • Delegate tasks for investigating and resolving patient concerns.
  • Facilitate collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams for optimal care.
  • Monitor resource needs, equipment, supplies, and medications in clinical areas.
  • Maintain clinical expertise and provide supervision to ensure safe environments.
  • Create developmental opportunities and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Coach teams, set goals, and drive performance improvements.
  • Manage units by translating plans into actions and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Oversee hospital functions including budgets, HR, training, and safety.
  • Develop emergency preparedness plans and ensure staff training.
  • Lead strategic projects for quality, efficiency, and operations improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Nursing Practice Act, Joint Commission, and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of patient care delivery experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) plus 5 years in business operations or clinical healthcare.
  • Minimum 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Registered Nurse License (Oregon) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
  • Cath Lab (cardiac catheterization laboratory) experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • ANCC certification in related practice area.
