Description

  • RNs will be monitoring maternal and fetal status, interpreting fetal heart rate patterns, administering medications, managing, assisting with complicated labor and deliveries, and providing routine nursing interventions.
  • RNs will be providing triage assessment, responding to obstetric urgent, emergent and scheduled C-sections, post-op recovery, breastfeeding support, and neonatal resuscitation, supporting pain management strategies such as epidural care, providing education and emotional support to patients and families, and ensuring safe transitions to postpartum or newborn care.
  • RN's provide comprehensive nursing care to women at various stages of pregnancy, and labor in the Labor and Delivery unit.  

Qualifications

  • Committed to working an 8-week travel assignment for night shift, 3 days per week, 12 hours per day. 
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience 
  • Active RN License
  • Must have BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring Certificate
  • MAB or CPI, LA Fire card
  • Experience in Cerner charting preferred
