Clinical Nurse Educator - Medical/Surgical Units

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement evidence-based practice, education, and professional development within critical care areas
• Act as a clinical resource for the Medical/Surgical units (3M, 4M, 5M) Nursing staff for bedside care
• Focus on the development of new graduate nurses within the Medical/Surgical Departments

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited NLN approved RN program
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree in Education preferred
• Five (5) years of recent clinical experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
• One year of education background preferred
• Current SC nursing license or compact state license; BLS, ACLS required
• Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, outcomes oriented, and knowledge of education methods and clinical practice
