    Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled Nurse Educator Acute Care to support the professional development and clinical competency of bedside nurses. The Clinical Educator plays a critical role as an educator, change agent, facilitator, consultant, and researcher, fostering empowerment through knowledge and skills to achieve excellence in evidence-based nursing practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff across acute care settings.
    • Support bedside nurses in enhancing professional competence and clinical skills.
    • Serve as a resource for evidence-based practice, clinical guidelines, and professional development.
    • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and simulation exercises (high- and low-fidelity) as needed.
    • Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and design educational interventions.
    • Act as a change agent to improve patient care outcomes and nursing performance.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Nursing.

    • Masters Degree in Nursing or actively enrolled in a program with

      projected completion within 18 months of hire.
    • Valid Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.

    • National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.

    • Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience in the area of specialty.

    • Knowledge and experience in adult education and course development.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification in relevant nursing specialty.

    • Previous formal educator experience.

    • Leadership experience in a nursing or healthcare setting.

    • Experience with clinical simulation (high- and low-fidelity).
