Job Title: Nurse Education Manager
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 03 months Contract
Schedule: 4X10 OR 5X8, MUST BE FLEXIBLE FOR BOTH
Hourly rate: $89/hr to $93/hr on W2 (Negotiable)
- Leads nursing practice using Relationship-Centered Care and Modified Primary Nursing.
- Critical Care, Med-Surg, or Stepdown experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in nursing education and management/administration.
- Provides clinical leadership and promotes clinical excellence.
- Serves as a professional role model, preceptor, and mentor for staff and students.
- Promotes evidence-based practice, research, innovation, and lifelong learning.
- Develops and supports nursing education programs, budgets, and competency validation.
- Oversees and evaluates educational records, reporting systems, and staff competencies.
- Ensures effective implementation of Hourly Care Checks/Care Checks and provides staff feedback.
- Monitors and improves the patient experience, including follow-up and service recovery.
- Collaborates with Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Incorporates ethical principles, compassion, empathy, respect, and active listening into patient care.
- Communicates patient-experience data and clinical information to staff and care teams.
- Participates in meetings, research activities, pilot studies, and clinical initiatives.
- Provides age-appropriate care across neonate/infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Modifies care approaches based on patient age, needs, and treatment response.
