Position Summary:

Provides patient care under the direction of registered nurse. Activities will vary in relationship to area of assignment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care by performing treatments and procedures as listed by Nursing Services Department.
• Insures procedures are documented and nursing care given properly to patients.
• Assists with patient teaching under guidance of registered nurse.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months health care-related experience and/or training.
• CPR or BLS

Preferred:

• State Certification as a CNA for the State of Michigan
