This role plays a vital part in delivering direct patient care, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the dignity and comfort of those we serve.Key Responsibilities:Assist patients with bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, ambulating, and feedingSupport patient admissions/discharges, including belongings inventory and auditsMonitor and report vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditionsProvide one-on-one patient interaction and support therapeutic activitiesAssist with mealtime preparation, tray delivery/pickup, and feeding if neededMaintain clean and safe patient environments (make beds, empty bedpans, etc.)Turn, reposition, and provide toileting needs for bedbound patientsSupport patient transportation to tests, therapy, and physician visitsObserve/report pressure areas or changes in physical/emotional statusMaintain accurate documentation and attend required training sessionsComply with infection control procedures and use PPE as directedPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required); Associate degree (Preferred)Experience: 1 year of Med/Surg care experience strongly preferredRequired Skills & Traits:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCompassionate, dependable, and patient-centeredKnowledge of healthcare laws, infection control, and confidentiality practicesAbility to work independently, multitask, and remain calm under pressureComputer proficiency and accurate documentation skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift (50 lbs.), and assist with patient mobilityManual dexterity for patient care tasksVisual and auditory acuity to monitor patients and respond appropriatelyReady to join a team where your care makes a real impact?
