About the role: Location: Jupiter, Florida, 33478. Per diem available. We're looking for a Nuclear Planner Maintenance/Construction on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) The Nuclear Planner, Senior is a critical role responsible for the strategic planning, sequencing/scheduling, and documentation of maintenance, projects, and operational work within a nuclear power plant. This role interfaces with multiple plant departments to ensure the completion of tasks while following safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and operational schedules. The Nuclear Planner Scheduler will occasionally fill in as site lead. Employees in this role will attend Site/ Fleet Online/Outage and other meetings representing the department. You will report to the onsite Manager. Location: Jupiter, Florida, 33478. Per diem available. 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) Key Responsibilities: * Plan and organizes preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and systems * Create clear and concise work instructions that are sequenced in a logical, efficient manner * Ensure work instructions are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements * Review and interpret Engineering Change implementation requirements * Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventative maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities * Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering on work instruction requirements * Support required testing of updates to new and existing planning and scheduling applications * Support all of the NextEra Energy nuclear sites * Take on lead planner role * Provide mentorship to junior planner schedulers Qualifications: * High School Grad / GED * Experience: 5+ years of power plant, construction, military, or similar experience in operations, maintenance, or work management Qualifications that makes you stand out: * Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience * Trade School Graduate * Technical Certificate Program * Nuclear Experience: 5+ years * 3+ years of power plant, construction, military or similar planning or scheduling experience Our Safety Pledge to You: If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
