Job Summary
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team! As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be performing high-quality  SPECT nuclear stress tests on patients with a variety of needs, administering proper radionuclides in a safe manner, and monitoring the patient's well-being during the entire exam, ensuring they are both comfortable and safe. You will also answer questions from patients about the procedure and tests, and work closely with the rest of the team and the patient’s physician to get the required results. The ideal candidate has the necessary licenses for the position, excellent communication skills, and a desire to help people. 

Responsibilities 

• Perform SPECT nuclear stress tests on incoming patients, and answer their questions 
• Administer radionuclides to patients
• Monitor the patient throughout the entire procedure to ensure they are both comfortable and safe
•  Previous experience operating Digirad nuclear imaging equipment is strongly preferred. Candidates should have hands-on experience   with Digirad nuclear cameras, including patient positioning, image acquisition, camera operation, and basic troubleshooting
