    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As our Nuclear Med Tech, you will be a specialized healthcare professional, vital in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services through the precise application of radionuclides.

    Every day, you will expertly perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing radionuclides to produce high-quality images and data for licensed practitioners. You'll ensure appropriate patient care, recognize conditions essential for successful procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate equipment, and adhere to strict radiation safety.

    To be successful in this role you will obtain current certification, advanced technical expertise, and an exceptional eye for detail, coupled with a thorough understanding of radiation safety. Your compassionate patient care and dedication to precise imaging will be essential.

    • Medical terminology relating to nuclear medicine
    • Principles of operation and care of nuclear medicine equipment
    • Currently accepted diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
    • Mechanical and electrical safety practices and requirements in the patient examination environment
