    Novant Health is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team.

    What Were Looking For:

    • ARRT (N) or CNMT certification
    • Prior acute care experience preferred
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

    What Youll Do The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

    What Were Looking For Education:

    • 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.

    Licensure/Certification:

    • Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB - RT(N) or CNMT, required.
    • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
    • Applicable state license, required.

    Additional Skills (required):

    • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
    • Good communication skills
    • Capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms
    • Working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment
    • Able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served
    • Has ability to interpret information to identify each patients requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs
