Job Summary: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of clinical diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including general studies, cardiac studies, and related computer-assisted analyses. This role plays a vital part in supporting accurate diagnoses and effective patient care through high-quality imaging and professional expertise.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • One of the following national certifications (upon hire):
    • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or
    • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine (RT[N]) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (upon hire).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (upon hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with PET/CT imaging and hybrid modalities.
  • Experience working with PACS, EMR systems, and nuclear medicine-specific software.
  • Strong patient care and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving best practices in diagnostic imaging.
