The posted compensation range of $36.42 - $54.17 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our nuclear med tech on our team you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures through the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the safe operation of various types of imaging counting and computer equipment. Nuclear med tech maintains accurate records of radioactive materials from receipt through administration and disposal. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.
Every day, you will center on patient care, radiopharmaceutical handling, and operating advanced imaging gear like pet/ct or spect/ct scanners. You calibrate equipment, draw and administer radioactive doses, position patients, and process the resulting scans for radiologists to review.
To be successful in this role, you need a strong blend of meticulous safety habits, radiation physics knowledge, and patient-focused empathy.
