About the Peer Advising Program

The NTC Peer College Advising Program is a peer-support program within the Office of College Advising at Newcomb-Tulane College. Each Peer College Advisor works with additional projects to enhance the experience of our undergraduate students. The PCA role is meant to provide support and encouragement to their peers as they navigate the challenges associated with adjusting to college. In this paid position, PCAs partner with College Advisors to help students with registration decisions and beyond. PCAs will be trained to use the motivational interviewing approach in their meetings with students.
