    We are looking for an energetic Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The Senior Staff Accountant will be the lead for the Staff Accounting team. They will take ownership for every aspect that goes into producing the organizations financial reports. From verifying, analyzing, and correcting financial data and its accuracy to running the financial reports from the different systems. They will be collaborating on any financial system changes, to make sure the team is receiving and creating any report needed to accurately portray the P&Ls. They will also be responsible for helping perform account reconciliations, calculating and processing journal entries, month end close, balancing accounts as assigned, matching intercompany transfers, helping with audits, travel expenses and helping improve process.

    SUMMARY:

    Prepare, review, and enter financial documents for efficient and accurate creation of the P&L. Review and improve current processes and reports

    for increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure accuracy of intercompany transfers and entries to avoid discrepancies. Collaborate on financial

    reporting in the new Finance Systems. Lead and help train Staff Accounting team.

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Related Field

    • Proficient in Excel

    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

    • Detail Oriented, Self-Starter

    • Good problem-solving and time management skills

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Daily Tasks

    • Inventory Receiving, Sales and COGS, MoM and GP weekly reviews.

    • Process Improvement

    • Analyze and reconcile Assigned Accounts

    • Prepare and maintain periodic reporting

    • Preparation entries for month end

    • GL balancing

    Month End Close

    • Help keep track of Staff Accountants tasks.

    • Staff Accountants Lead

    • Calculate and Enter Assigned Journal Entries

    • Analyze and reconcile Assigned Accounts

    • Reconcile Intercompany Transfers

    • Balance Accounts between multiple systems (Agility, OneStream, Answers)

    • Response to information requests

    • Distribute Financial Statements

    • Investigate discrepancies

    • Maintain Record Retention

    • Special Projects

    • Maintain record or new and close branches

    • Bank Reconciliations

    • OneStream financial reporting software

    • Collaborate in the creation of new reports/financial reviews

    • Review and recommend modifications to accounting reports (Staff Accountants)

    • Provide Schedules as Needed for Interim, EOY External Audits and Bank Audits

    • Liaise with our General Accounting Process Manager to improve financial procedures
