Description

Job Summary:
  • The individual will be responsible for aiding the Engineering Team in the process of design and creation of new electrical industrial control and power distribution low voltage panels - prototypes.
  • Working Environment: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer, frequently communicates with employees and vendors.
  • Shift Timings: M-F 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM
  • 12 months Contract to Hire
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Build and document the prototypes, sometimes from preliminary and/or minimal documentation.
  • Create wire list documentation, including selection of wire terminals and tooling.
  • Assist Engineering in the process of creation and design of new panels.
  • Review daily NPI Problems and resolve any issues with the prototypes.
  • Problem panel layout and harness routing resolutions.
  • Provide monthly report to recipients for analysis of quality issues found in NPI.
  • Assist in maintenance and inventory of tools used in NPI (i.e., Torque Tools, etc.).
  • Help with Verification, Inspection and Testing of panels.
  • Other activities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SyteLine & SOLIDWORKS PDM
  • Able to read and understand Electrical Schematics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Assist Engineering with documenting any changes in ERP system
  • Detail-oriented and customer-focused
  • Flexibility to juggle multiple projects
  • Follow 6S practices daily.
  • Required Skills: ELECTRICAL SCHEMATICS, New Product Introduction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or equivalent
