NPI Planner - Netsuite Optimization

2. NetSuite ERP Testing, Optimization & Data Architecture System Testing & Validation: Design, write, and execute end-to-end UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test cases for NetSuite workflow enhancements, custom fields, scripts, and module updates. You will serve as the core technical bridge between engineering, supply chain, and IT to configure, test, and maintain robust ERP data architecture—ensuring seamless engineering change management (ECO/ECN) from Arena PLM directly into NetSuite.

NPI Planner – NetSuite Optimization

Seeking an NPI Planner with deep expertise in NetSuite ERP optimization and Arena PLM integration. In this role, you will lead production planning, inventory strategy, and material control for New Product Introduction (NPI) builds. You will serve as the core technical bridge between engineering, supply chain, and IT to configure, test, and maintain robust ERP data architecture—ensuring seamless engineering change management (ECO/ECN) from Arena PLM directly into NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities
1. NPI Production & Supply Chain Planning

• Manage end-to-end planning, scheduling, and material movement for NPI builds, prototype iterations, and early-stage production runs.
• Establish Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and work orders in NetSuite to ensure real-time build readiness and inventory accuracy.
• Partner with R&D, Hardware Engineering, and Sourcing teams to clear component shortages, mitigate long-lead risks, and maintain build schedules.

2. NetSuite ERP Testing, Optimization & Data Architecture

• System Testing & Validation: Design, write, and execute end-to-end UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test cases for NetSuite workflow enhancements, custom fields, scripts, and module updates.
• Data Table & Architecture Management: Build and manage custom NetSuite data tables, saved searches, custom records, KPI dashboards, and reporting modules tailored to planning and supply chain metrics.
• Process Optimization: Continuously audit and optimize NetSuite planning parameters (reorder points, lead times, safety stock calculations, MRP rules) to streamline shop-floor execution.

3. PLM Integration & Change Management

• Arena PLM to NetSuite Integration: Own and manage the integration pipeline connecting Arena PLM with NetSuite ERP.
• Engineering Change Control: Oversee the smooth transition of ECOs, ECNs, component revisions, and BOM updates from Arena into NetSuite data structures without disrupting active builds or inventory stock.
• Lead cross-functional alignment between Engineering and Operations to ensure clean data transfer, part lifecycle status accuracy, and revision control.

Qualifications & Key Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 4+ years of NPI Planning, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Analysis in a hardware, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environment.
• NetSuite Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience optimizing NetSuite ERP for manufacturing/assembly environments.
  • Proven track record creating UAT test cases, executing systematic system tests, and debugging workflow issues.
  • Proficiency building NetSuite data structures, custom records, saved searches, and relational data tables.
• Arena PLM & Integration Experience:
  • Direct experience using Arena PLM for revision control and change management.
  • Hands-on experience establishing or managing data sync/integrations between Arena PLM and NetSuite ERP (via iPaaS tools such as Celigo, Jitterbit, or custom API connectors).
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities (Advanced Excel, SQL, or NetSuite Analytics Workbook), high attention to detail, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, laser systems, or complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• CPIM / CSCP certification from APICS/ASCM.
• Prior experience configuring Celigo or custom middleware for ERP/PLM integrations.
