The OR Surgical First Assist Nurse Practitoner/RNFA or Physician Assistant Surgical First Assistant Per Diem utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN/RNFA or PA works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. This position is for the Operating Room. If applying as a Nurse Practitioner, one would also need to hold a RN First Assist Certification.
Minimum of 3 shifts per month for per diem coverage.
Shifts will vary to meet the needs of the 24 hr service.
Predominantly 10 and 12 hour shifts
Day, evening and nights
Weekend requirement.
