Summary:
We are searching for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is motivated to work in Hematology/Oncology with Adolescent and Young Adult patients.
This full-time position will support our Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) population.
Prior Hematology/Oncology experience preferred.
Functions in collaborative practice with physician(s) in the inpatient and outpatient settings for medically complex oncology patients.
Autonomously performs patient assessment, diagnosis, and intervention according to approved protocols.
Supports physician to develop and maintain patients. Collaborates with specialties and maintains continuity of care.
Provides coverage for physician(s) during periods of absence.
Prescribes a variety of modalities to meet wellness and illness needs, up to and including hospital admission/discharge and prescriptive authority.
Perform procedures including but not limited to bone marrow aspirates and biopsies and lumbar punctures.
