NP Night Shift Operators

Nesco Resource is currently seeking a Needle Punch Operator for a manufacturing facility in Gray Court, SC.

This position is responsible for supporting the production process by operating equipment, monitoring product quality, assisting with machine setup, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Job Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate production equipment within established operating standards.
• Monitor raw materials, finished products, and equipment for defects or process deviations.
• Assist with machine setup, operation, and changeovers.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Maintain production records and monitor product quality.
• Conduct routine safety audits and report concerns.
• Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Support team operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Fill in for the Lead Operator when necessary.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues to minimize downtime.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery operation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Understanding of the metric system preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Carding, needle punch, textile, or nonwoven manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
