We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens position in the state of Washington. This opportunity is ideal for advanced practice providers with critical care experience who are ready to contribute to a busy inpatient setting.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Near Outlook, WA
- Start Date: January 1, 2025
- Duration: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired
- Schedule:
- Night shifts only: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
- 7-on/7-off schedule
- Open dates available through April 2025
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Patient Load: 6-8 patients per shift
- Bed Count: 14 in the ICU
- Critical Care Physician Backup: Available on-call
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Procedures:
- Central lines
- Arterial lines
- Intubations
- Paracentesis (as needed)
- Certifications:
- ACLS required
- AGACNP preferred
- Experience: ICU experience required
Additional Details:
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- Hospital Designations:
- Trauma Level: 3
- Stroke Certified
- Support Staff: One PA/NP support per shift
