As a Material Handler II, you'll play a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and ensuring seamless shipping and receiving processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do
As a Material Handler II, you will be responsible for

• Executing all Material Handler I responsibilities with a higher level of accuracy, efficiency, and independence.
• Maintaining inventory integrity through cycle counting, root cause analysis of discrepancies, and corrective actions.
• Investigating, reconciling, and resolving inventory variances with minimal supervision.
• Coordinating material movement across departments including production, inspection, outside processing, and shipping.
• Prioritizing and expediting material requests to support production schedules and customer commitments.
• Ensuring accurate system transactions for all inventory movements (receipts, issues, transfers, and shipments).
• Reviewing and validating work orders, blue cards, and system data to ensure alignment and traceability.
• Overseeing packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation to ensure compliance with customer and carrier requirements.
• Troubleshooting and resolving inbound/outbound shipment issues, including carrier discrepancies and delays.
• Operating and troubleshooting warehouse equipment (e.g., scales, bagging machines, barcode systems).
• Training and mentoring Material Handler I employees on processes, systems, and best practices.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control, layout optimization, and process flow.
• Assisting in maintaining organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards in stockroom and shipping areas.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve material-related issues.
• Generating reports and providing data to support inventory audits, KPIs, and management reviews.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have

• 2–3 years of stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Conversational in any other language is a plus.
