Caregiver Responsibilities
As a Caregiver, your day-to-day work may include:
- Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Supporting activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote safety and independence
- Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
- Offering companionship and positive social interaction
- Providing medication reminders (as permitted) and routine wellness checks
- Working primarily in clients’ homes with varying shift times and care needs
(experience in dementia care or Alzheimer’s care is helpful, but not required)
Requirements (Must-Have)
To qualify for this Caregiver position, you must meet the following:
- Reliable personal vehicle (car)
- Valid driver’s license
- Current auto insurance in your name (or proof you are covered)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds minimum
- Ability to pass a written competency evaluation, drug screen, and nationwide background check
- Honest, energetic, and caring with a passion for helping others
Preferred (Not Required — We Can Train You)
- HCA (Home Care Aide) certification or CNA license preferred, but not necessary
(We’ll pay for training for qualified Caregivers!)
