    FinTrust Connect has partnered with a community-focused regional banking institution to identify top talent for a Not-for-Profit Banker opportunity specializing in nonprofit and mission-driven organizations. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial banker who has strong relationships within the nonprofit community, or a genuine passion for the sector, and excels at building deep relationships that generate meaningful deposit growth.

    Requirements:
    • Demonstrated commercial or C&I banking experience with responsibility for relationship development and new business generation
    • Strong connections to the nonprofit, philanthropic, civic, or broader Atlanta business community preferred
    • Proven ability to generate and retain commercial deposits
    • Experience originating and managing commercial credit relationships
    • Familiarity with nonprofit financing structures, including capital campaign, bridge, and related credit facilities
    • Ability to evaluate nonprofit financial performance, liquidity, cash flow, and borrowing needs
    • Strong consultative sales, relationship management, and networking skills
    • Ability to develop relationships that extend beyond individual lending transactions and support long-term deposit retention
    Description:
    • Develop new banking relationships with nonprofit organizations through targeted business development, community involvement, referrals, and professional networks
    • Manage a portfolio of nonprofit clients with an emphasis on relationship depth, deposit generation, retention, and overall profitability
    • Generate approximately $10M–$15M in annual deposit production while identifying opportunities to expand treasury and other banking relationships
    • Originate approximately $10M in annual commercial lending opportunities aligned with appropriate credit standards
    • Analyze nonprofit financial statements, cash flow, liquidity, collateral, and repayment capacity when structuring credit solutions
    • Coordinate financing for needs such as capital campaigns, bridge facilities, and other short- to intermediate-term borrowing requirements
    • Maintain proactive client contact as loan balances mature or roll off, ensuring relationships remain anchored through deposits and broader banking services
    • Collaborate with credit, treasury management, operations, and other internal partners to deliver comprehensive solutions for nonprofit clients
    • Monitor portfolio performance, relationship profitability, credit quality, and deposit activity
    • Represent the organization within Atlanta's nonprofit and civic communities to expand visibility, referral relationships, and business development opportunities
