We're seeking a hands-on Construction Controller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and understands the complexities of government contracting.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions
• Manage job costing and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
• Review and process AIA billings and payment applications
• Ensure compliance with government contract accounting requirements
• Lead the Accounts Payable function and cash management
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze project profitability
• Partner with ownership and operations to improve efficiency and support strategic decisions
• Develop and enhance accounting processes through technology and automation

What We're Looking For

Construction accounting leadership experience
Strong background with government contractors/government contracts
Extensive experience with AIA billing, WIP schedules, and job costing
Knowledge of construction financial reporting and contract compliance
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, reporting)
Tech-savvy professional who enjoys streamlining processes and implementing improvements
Collaborative leader who enjoys working alongside operations—not just behind a desk
